Thank you to the Lockport American Legion for hosting the August TRIAD meeting!

Today, we heard from several of our local leaders: Commander Jason Miller, Lockport Township Trustee Karen Johnson, and Will County Board Member Sherry Williams. They shared valuable information, offered insight into our community, and took the time to answer residents' questions.

Back in June, we had the pleasure of recognizing a few of our scholarship recipients at the Township's monthly board meeting👏.

We're proud of all they've accomplished so far and know they'll continue to do great things as they begin the new school year. We wish them all the best of luck!

Information regarding the 2026-2027 scholarship program will be available this fall, so keep an eye out! 🎓

Great news, Lockport Township! TRIAD is coming to Romeoville!

Join us monthly for informative presentations on topics important to seniors, with breakfast served.

TRIAD connects seniors, community, and first responders to help improve the quality of life in our community.

The Supervisor's Office participated in the Will County Center for Economic Development's Summer Internship Program for the second year!

Two interns joined us this summer: Adam Kuncius and Addison Way. They had a busy summer learning about the Township, mastering operational tasks, creating graphics and service brochures, attending special events, and so much more. They even had the opportunity to interview local leaders and officials, including Senator Rachel Ventura and Chief John O'Connor and Officer Katie Gritsuk from the Lockport Township Fire Protection District.

We wish Adam and Addison the best of luck as they begin their freshman year of college! 🎓

Our Supervisor, Alex Zapien and interns Addie and Adam, recently stopped by the Fairmont Stormwater Rehabilitation Project to check in on the progress made in the area. Crews are hard at work installing drainage infrastructure designed for stormwater management and help reduce flooding. 🚜🚧

We are excited to see this project moving forward and appreciate everyone working to make these improvements! We were able to chat with a few residents to get feedback about the work. Thank you to PT Ferro, Engineering Resource Associates, and Kindheart Consulting Group for working onsite.

The Pop Tab Collection Program is with Ronald McDonald House Charities and it ensures that every child has access to world class medical care. Collecting pop tabs is one way to support the Ronald McDonald House Charities. The drop off container is located in the Township's front foyer.

Located at 1463 S. Farrell Rd., Lockport, IL. We are open 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Are You Ready Kids?! That's a wrap on our Back-to-School Fairs this summer! 📚

From seeing students leave with school supply bundles and families enjoying treats, goodies, and ice cream from our wonderful community partners made for a memorable day.

A special thank you to everyone who joined us, our community partners for their generosity, and to the City of Crest Hill for making this event possible.
