Tick season tips!

May is National Lyme Disease Prevention Month β€” a reminder to stay tick aware and protect yourself and your family from tick-borne diseases.

Cornell Integrated Pest Management reminds you to:
βœ”οΈ Perform daily tick checks
βœ”οΈ Learn to recognize tick species
βœ”οΈ Remove ticks promptly and properly
βœ”οΈ Dress for ticks - tuck pants into socks and wear permethrin treated clothing

Ticks can hide in hard-to-see places like behind ears, under arms, behind knees and along the hairline β€” so don’t skip your daily check.
