A major milestone at Central Campus!

Today, District leaders, project partners, community members, and the Berglund Construction team gathered for a special Topping Out Ceremony celebrating the completion of the building’s exterior masonry work.

The final brick was lifted by crane to the roof and placed by the project’s masons then made even more meaningful when Dr. Kerri Green hand-drew the LTHS logo on the brick before it was signed by those attending the celebration.

Our Porters are doing great work in Mr. Chris Davis’ Vocational Building Trades class, gaining hands-on experience and putting their skills to work. 🔨We love seeing our students learn by doing!

Superintendent’s Advisory Council is back in session! This morning, our student leaders kicked off the first Superintendent’s Advisory Council meeting of the school year. Students met our Executive Team, learned about this year’s Student Board Members, and reflected on the accomplishments of the Council from last year.

Students then joined working groups focused on areas they’re passionate about, creating opportunities to collaborate, share ideas, and partner with one another throughout the school year.

We’re excited to see what this year’s student leaders accomplish!
