Today marks the 1st day of Curriculum Palooza 2026. Over the next 2 days, more than 100 teachers from 10 departments will come together to prepare for the new school year. Our staff is focusing on intentional instructional shifts to better support student learning outcomes.

Teachers are working to align course standards, create assessment plans, and make sure our curriculum connects with our students. One of our main goals this year is to update coursework for the new 8-period day bell schedule.

This change will give students at East Campus more academic and elective options. By planning now, teachers can keep their focus on helping every student succeed throughout the year.

As the school year comes to a close, Dr. Johnson shares important updates regarding East Campus' transition to an 8-period school day and the restructuring of Student Services beginning next school year.

🎓 Tomorrow is Graduation Day! 🎓

We look forward to celebrating and congratulating the Class of 2026 at the 117th Annual Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 30, at Porter Stadium.

Graduates should arrive by 3:00 PM and enter through Door #3 (cafeteria entrance). The ceremony will be livestreamed for family and friends who are unable to attend in person.
