We want to keep our community informed.

On Tuesday, April 28, at approximately 9:30 a.m., Victorian Village will participate in a planned emergency evacuation drill in partnership with the Homer Township Fire Protection District and Northwest Homer Fire Protection District.

You may notice emergency vehicles, personnel, and activity on and around our campus, along with temporary traffic impacts near 143rd Street.

This is only a drill—there is no emergency.

These exercises help ensure we are fully prepared to keep our residents and staff safe.

The Northwest Homer Firefighters continue this year in collecting toys for the USMC Toys for Tots Program. Please help if you can by dropping off a New Unwrapped toy at our fire houses.

If we are out on an emergency call, please just leave it outside the door we will bring them inside as soon as we return. After the collection we deliver them directly to the Men and Women of the USMC for local distribution to kids in need.

The Village's annual Trunk or Treat event is next Saturday, October 25 from 3-5 PM. This year, trunks will be stationed in the new cul-de-sac road of Heritage Park. We hope to see you there!

You can drop off a new unwrapped toy to be distributed in the Will County area at our two stations located on 143rd Street between 8am - 8pm. If the Firefighters are out on a call please leave them near the door to be collected when they return.
