Our SRP kids met at South Park this morning with Wonders of Wildlife! They learned about a unique rabbit named Luna and an Alligator snapping turtle. Also got to examine a wolf skull, a coyote hide and an ant farm. They had lots of playtime drinks and snacks. We will be back at the library June 20th.

Registration for our Summer Reading Program is Tuesday, May 30th beginning at 10:00. We will have snacks and drinks for everyone, game and activities for our kids.
June 6th will be our first day ending on July 25th with our end of program party!
0-5 and 6-8 will meet at 10:00, 9 and up will meet at 11:00 with a new Bookopoly to play. Last year some of our "in between" ages felt left out not being able to buy things with Bookopoly money so we've included them this year and we'll see how that works out.
Wonders of Wildlife will again be here at South Park on Tuesday June 13 for all ages.
Jay and Leslie, Juggling and Other Nonsence will be here July 11th, again for all ages at 10:00.
We are still undecided about being here July 4th so we will get some input from parents on that.
We've had lots of posters turned in, so don't forget to drop yours off at the library.
We hope to see all your little (and big ones) here at the library for our Summer Reading Program!

We couldn't get on FB for awhile, but now the bugs are worked out. We'll have Storytime pics to post now too!!! Do you have a little ones who loves books? We are starting "1,000 Books Before Kindergarten" here at the library. Stop by and get your sheet and stickers! This does not have to be 1,000 different books, get a sticker for every time you read to your child. They like the same book read 3 times a day? That's fine....that's 3 stickers!
We have all new items donated for the City Wide Sale this Saturday April 29th. I will get pictures posted this afternoon of some things we have. Proceeds will go to our Summer Reading Program since we did not get a grant this year. Tucker Berry has helped us with all the grant paper work and now we wait on the government to approve us.
Our SRP starts May 30th thru July 25th. We have ordered books, a few supplies and have a new presenter this year. We hope you will bring your kids to join us again this year. I'll have more to post next week on this and an age group schedule.
