Last week we were able to present Cherokee Nation Tribal council member Danny Callison with one of our new archery jackets. Over the last few years Mr Callison has worked hard for the people and schools inside of his district. Cherokee Nation has helped our teams so much, especially during Mr Callison’s term as councilor. Our jackets represent our tribe with syllabary on the back that translates to “archer”. We could not think of another person more deserving of this gift. Wado!

We would like to give a special thank you to our local Walmart for the donuts, Red Bulls, and Paw Patrol bandages! 🍩🚓

We truly appreciate your support and for thinking of us during Law Enforcement Appreciation Week. Small gestures like this mean a lot to our officers and staff.

And of course… you know the police will never pass up some donuts! 💪🏼

☕️ Mark your calendars and come join your local police department for Coffee & Conversation on June 13, 2026!

We will be there from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. enjoying good coffee and great conversation with our community. Coffee is on the Chief this time around — but no donuts this go around, so don’t get too excited. 😄

This is a great opportunity to meet your local officers, share ideas, ask questions, or simply provide feedback on how we can better serve our community. We always enjoy hearing from the people we serve.

A special thank you to Pastor Jason and Hometown Coffee for partnering with us and hosting this event. We are thankful for the strong relationships we have with our local businesses and community members.

Be sure to stop by and support local when you can — we look forward to seeing you there!

Officer McCurry had a great time attending career day at Chouteau-Mazie Public Schools alongside several agencies from across the county.

He even took time to read a story to the class, which the students really enjoyed. Officer McCurry has a heart for serving others and enjoys building positive relationships with our youth and community.

Thank you to the school for having us and allowing us to be part of a great day!

Congratulations to Officer Sitsler on successfully completing the five-day MOA Tactical Basic Sniper Operations Course. 👏🏼

This was a challenging and demanding course that is highly recommended by law enforcement agencies across the United States. The training focused on precision marksmanship, observation skills, decision-making, communication, and tactical operations in high-pressure situations.

We believe continuing education and specialized training are essential to providing the highest level of service and protection to our community. We are proud of Officer Sitsler’s hard work, dedication, and commitment to professional development.

Please join us in congratulating Officer Sitsler on this accomplishment and for representing our department with professionalism and excellence. 🇺🇸
