The Public Works Authority would like to remind everyone of the procedure for water service restoration due to non payment.
The Cut off time for same-day water restoration will be 2:30pm. Payments received after 2:15 will result in water services being restored on the next business day.
The reconnect fee of $100.00 will need to be paid before reconnection of service.

Same as below, Contractors just had to relocate . Still no estimated time of completion.
The Contractors will be installing a master water meter so those around N Broadway & Joe Koelsch to Holman Ln/ Wyandotte may experience little water pressure to no water while the installation is being done. No estimated time of completion given. As always thank you for your patience and understanding.

The contractors will be installing another Master Meter on HWY 412 & 82 ( West side of the road), by Pipe Springs. We are hopeful that this install will not affect anyone's water. Please use caution ⚠️ when traveling that area.

If you have no water or low water pressure it is due to a contractor hitting a major water line. The PWA guys are working on it. Estimated time is up to 6 hrs. Please be patient and as always thank you for your patience and understanding.

UH-OH!!!! A main water line was hit during a dig. We had to shut a main line off so a lot of people will be without water until the PWA crew can get it repaired. No estimated time was given so I am going to say the service will be restored by 5:00 pm So from the calls I am getting it looks like Delaware, Cherokee, Bryan, Ewing and possibly water st will be without water

Update on water meter installation on HWY 82. The contractors had to change locations due to how the pipeline runs so all business still have water but please be prepared to loose water before noon and then if everything goes as planned we are looking at 2- 3 pm for work to be completed and services restored. Our apologies for inconvenience. This work was necessary and an important part of our water system.

PWA guys will be fixing a leak early this morning. Those from Markham to Wyandotte will be without water or have very low water pressure. Expected time frame is 2 hrs. They will be working as fast as possible to get your water services restored. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
