The Lodi Police Department mourns the loss of retired Lodi Police Officer Joseph Pedone, Sr. #60. Chief Donald Scorzetti extends his deepest condolences to the Pedone family during this difficult time.

P.O. Pedone began his career with the Lodi Police Department on March 1, 1965, dedicating nearly 27 years of service to the Borough of Lodi. Throughout his career, he served in the Traffic Division as a Motor Officer and also served as a Radar Instructor. His commitment and professionalism were recognized through numerous awards and commendations.

After a distinguished career serving our community, P.O. Pedone retired on January 1, 1992.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Pedone family, his friends, and everyone who had the honor of knowing and working alongside him. We are grateful for his years of dedicated service and the lasting impact he made on the Borough of Lodi.

Thank you for your service, P.O. Pedone. Your legacy will not be forgotten.

May you rest in eternal peace. 🙏🏽🖤💙

Today, we remember those we have lost to overdose, stand with families and loved ones who continue to feel that loss, and remind our community that help, hope, and recovery are always possible.

The Lodi Police Department is proud to partner with The Center for Alcohol and Drug Resources and community partners to bring awareness, support, and resources directly to our communities.

Today’s outreach event will provide:
💜 Overdose awareness and education
💜 Family support resources
💜 Free Narcan
💜 Connections to recovery support
