It is with great sadness that we announce our closing effective October 31, 2025. For more than 40 years the members of the Log Cabin Fire Department have served the citizens of Log Cabin and the surrounding area with dignity, courage, pride.

Volunteerism is down nationwide and our department has fallen victim to it like so many others. Funding has also been a factor as it is harder and harder to operate on the very little we were receiving.

We want to thank the members that have come before us for all of the hard work they put in to building a department that has succeeded in so much for 40 years. We want to thank the members who have stuck it out through the good times and the bad. To all who have served with this department we say Thank You.

Unofficial Results of the May 3rd, 2025 City of Log Cabin General & Special Election. Thank you to our hard-working Election Judges and Clerks, and a huge thank you to everyone who voted!! Official results will be determined at the official election canvass.
