Logan County Commission is in the process of developing a housing plan. To develop this plan, participation by Logan County citizens is critical to its success.

Within the next few weeks, Logan County Process Servers will be delivering the final notification to approximately 84 property owners with delapidated structures located on their property. There will be no grace period with this notification. These will be given to property owners previously notified by certified mail and refused to respond. There will be no period to respond and only a very small window to properly clear the delapidated structures from their property. At the end of that time the property will be cleared and penalties in the form of a lien for the entire cost of clean up placed against the property.

On Friday December 6th, The Logan County Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Holiday Artisan Celebration featuring local artisans of excellency in glass, wood, and fabric art in our lobby at 325 Stratton Street Logan WV beginning at 11:00 a.m to 7:00 pm just in time for the Christmas Parade in Downtown City of Logan West Virginia

Four more houses are gone. This is on Rt. 44 at Wilkinson.

Next step will begin within the next few weeks.
Asbestos testing!!!
If the structures are clean then we will be moving on to demolishion.
If anyone has responded to a dilapidated structure notification and has not met the timeline, the structure will be placed on the same list as if not notified and will be removed.
