📚 ☀️ Summer Reading is Off to a Great Start! ☀️📚
Today was our first day of Summer Reading, and we had an amazing time learning, creating, and exploring together!
We read a story about cave paintings and talked about how early people used art to tell stories. Then we got hands-on and experimented with what it might have been like to create artwork on a cave wall by taping paper to a concrete wall and drawing with chalk and charcoal. Afterward, we turned out the lights to see how the pictures might have looked by firelight, just as people long ago would have viewed them.
The creativity didn't stop there! Our little readers also painted rocks, and we discovered that we have some very talented young artists in our group.
To help encourage reading all summer long, each child adopted a special reading buddy—a small toy dinosaur to accompany them on their reading adventures.
We're already looking forward to next week when we'll be digging into even more fun with our Dinosaur Dig activity!

IT’S TIME TO UNEARTH A STORY AT THE LOGAN AREA PUBLIC LIBRARY! We can’t wait to see all of our registered kiddos tomorrow, Tuesday, June 16, at 1:00, for our first day of Summer Reading!!!

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended our fundraising paint party tonight. Thank you for choosing to spend your evening with us and for your generous contributions. The proceeds from tonight’s event will significantly support our summer reading program, and your support is invaluable to us. A special thank you goes to Debbie Spradling for her tremendous help in preparing the stencils for the canvases. Each painting turned out beautifully and uniquely. We especially loved all the different patterns on the bows! It was truly a fantastic night spent with great friends, and we are truly grateful for your support.

REMINDER: Big thanks to all who have registered for our paint party tomorrow night. Our children’s summer reading program begins next week and all the proceeds will go towards food and supplies. We have been working hard to get things together and get the canvases prepared (thank you Debbie for cutting out the templates!!!). We are so excited and can’t wait to see everyone and enjoy a fun evening.

"Update" Registration is Closed, we are at maximum capacity. We are looking forward to seeing everyone who registered next Thursday!
