Last week while attending the annual Iowa Emergency Management Association Conference in Okoboji, I met up with former Harrison County EMA Coordinator Larry Oliver.
Larry was there to receive the Association's Lifetime membership award. This was presented for his years of dedication to the people of Harrison County in preparing, responding and recovering from the past disasters in our communities.
If you see Larry around, congratulate and give him a thank you....He definitely deserves it.
