Hocking County Veterans' Service Commission We proudly serve those who served and their families! We offer a wide range of services to our Veterans and their dependents.

We file service connected claims, pension and widows' pensions. We offer financial assistance with utilities, rent/mortgage, food, auto repairs and other expenses as deemed necessary by the VSC Board. We transport Veterans to the VAMC in Chillicothe, the Lancaster CBOC and Chalmers P. Wylie in Columbus for their medical appointments. We have all VA forms for any service you may need, such as, Heal

thcare enrollment, request your DD-214, medals earned on active duty, certificate of eligibility for VA home loan, and many many more. Please call if you have any questions, we are here to help you! You served us, now let us serve you!

💥🛑SCAM ALERT!!!!!🛑💥
GI Bill beneficiaries BEWARE: there is a known marketing scam targeting callers trying to reach the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) National Call Center or GI Bill Call Center. A marketing company has established two fraudulent numbers that differ from the two official VA call center numbers by one digit. If the fraudulent number is dialed by mistake, the answering party will offer a gift card and try to obtain personal and financial information, including credit card information, from the caller. The answering party may even transfer the caller to the VA after the caller’s information is obtained.
The numbers to be avoided are: 800-872-1000 (the real VA National Call Center number is 800-827-1000)
888-442-4511 (the real VA GI Bill Call Center number is 888-442-4551)
VA has notified law enforcement authorities to address this situation!

Our Lancaster Outpatient Clinic is MOVING at the end of this month!

The new location will open for business at noon on August 31st, with a GRAND OPENING scheduled for September 30th. More details to follow!
