What a beautiful day celebrating our neighbors and coming together as a community! ☀️ We loved spending Neighbor Appreciation Day with everyone at The Market at Hocking Drive.

Shoutout to The INNS for volunteering and setting a new record for boxes packed per hour! Together, they packed 1,439 boxes of food for seniors — a total of 22 tons of food!

Beyond packing boxes, volunteers also helped our neighbors shop at The Market and took time to write letters to seniors.

Ending hunger takes all of us working together. By sharing food, resources, and support, we can help build a stronger community where everyone has access to the food they need. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who showed up and took action for Hunger Action Day! 🧡

It was great to see the Athens County Foundation, The Gathering Place, Perry JFS, Athens County Department of Job and Family Services, New Lexington Head Start & Early Head Start, and so many community partners come together alongside friends and neighbors across Southeast Ohio. There’s still work to do, but we’re grateful for everyone who took a moment this month to get involved and help make sure our neighbors have access to the food they need.

We have something to celebrate! 🥳

This year’s Fight Hunger. Spark Change. campaign raised $38,824.95 for the SE Ohio Foodbank.

That money will help us continue getting food to neighbors across Southeast Ohio through the food pantries, meal programs, and other community partners that are part of our foodbank network.

A big thank-you to everyone who helped make it happen — the shoppers who donated, Walmart and Sam's Club associates, participating suppliers, Feeding America, volunteers, and all of the people who support hunger relief in our communities.

Local businesses across the Hocking Hills came together to make a difference, raising $2,581.80 through Hocking Hills Gives Back. That’s the equivalent of 4,363 meals for neighbors facing hunger. 🧡
