The State Theatre The State Theatre is a nonprofit venue which hosts local musicians, touring bands, comedians, and theatrical performances.

We are nestled in downtown Logansport, Indiana. Located in the heart of downtown’s Arts District, the State is a premiere performing arts venue, hosting live concerts, comedians, and theatrical productions. The theatre opened in the early 1940s and was converted to a two-screen cinema in the early 1970s. We are working hard to restore the theatre to it 1940s grandeur, and are committed to preservi

ng the theatre for the enjoyment of future generations. The theatre is also available for rent by the hour or by the day for receptions, band rehearsal and recording, dance and exercise instruction, business meetings, parties, and more.
