Cass County Community Foundation to Provide Free Swim Lessons At Muehlhausen Aquatic Center This Summer

Logansport, IN — Logansport Parks & Recreation Department is very pleased to announce that the Cass County Community Foundation is providing the funds to allow Cass County children the opportunity to take swim lessons this summer at Muehlhausen Aquatic Center (also known as Tower Park Pool) at no charge.

The importance of learning to swim was not lost on the CCCF Board of Directors, and they wanted to help make sure that Cass County children are given this opportunity. Swimming is a life-long skill that keeps people safe & healthy, and creates additional opportunities for social interaction, athletic endeavors, and participation in cultural events.

Online registration for these lessons will begin April 1st, and will be available to the first 35 children in each of the 6 possible lesson times to take place this summer. They will be available on a first come-first serve basis. Only children that reside in Cass County are eligible.

For more information, follow Logansport Parks and Recreation on Facebook, or contact the department directly by emailing [email protected] or calling 574-753-6969.
