Welcome to the innaugural 5k Trail Race at the Flory Preserve. Our race features a beautiful wooded course that winds through the city of Logansport's nature preserve and Ivy Tech's campus. This race is being put on as a partnership between the Confluence Running Club, Logansport, Parks Department, Cass County YMCA, Cass County Arts Alliance, and Ivy Tech Logansport. This race is made possible by
the generosity of Indiana Barns LLC. As our major sponsor they have taken care of the cost our our race shirts that each participant will receive. We have lots of other great sponsors lined up so there should be some awesome swag for everyone as well as some top shelf prizes for winners including Garmin Forerunner 15 GPS watches for the top overall male and female runners. We will have a DJ spinning live music, a local vendor serving fresh tacos and cold drinks and once the race is over head across the river to Little Turtle Plaza for the Art on the Avenue Festival. All money raised will be used to make improvements to the Flory Preserve. The preserve is a 33 acre woods on the South Side of Logansport. It hasn't been developed until recently when a 1 mile trail was created. Now minor improvements such as a parking area and benches are being considered.
