Jay Boland

Jay Boland It’s about People, not Politics. A “citizen, not politician”, a family man with a wife and four children that has lived in Loganville for over 7 years.

I am someone that will work hard for the city of Loganville and its residents; and want to make sure Loganville remains a great city and continues to grow in the right directions for our children, friends & families. The town green is a great example. Currently, I am the president of our HOA, coach children’s youth baseball, and work full time as a Senior Advertising Executive. I have been attendi

ng City Council meetings and work sessions for the past year and have had the pleasure of meeting both current and past council members. They have met me with open arms, great advice, suggestions and feedback and I have gained a wealth of knowledge from them. I hope to soon work side by side these fine folks and serve my community. Thank you

For the better part of 10 years now, it has been my pleasure to serve as a member of the Loganville City Council. From the beginning, I have always thought of myself, never as a politician, but as someone who was doing this for the betterment of the city that I am raising my family in. Over the years I have learned a lot, gotten to know a lot of residents, had the pleasure of serving with a great group of councilmembers and mayors, and hope that I have had a positive impact on the City of Loganville. As qualifying approached, I was on the fence about whether or not to seek another term on the Loganville City Council. While I know there are a lot of challenges that face Loganville today, I think it is time for me to step aside and let new blood take over the reins and lead this great City into the next chapter of its storied history.

I want to take a moment to thank my wife, Wendy, who has been my staunchest supporter & to our children (Kyle, Jessie, Brody and Jake). To my friends and supporters, I offer my heartfelt gratitude for everything you have done to support me over the years. There are a lot of things I will miss about being a councilman for the City of Loganville, and a few things I will not miss. But one of the things that I will miss most is working with the dedicated employees who keep our city running. They are the ones who work every day to try and make sure Loganville continues to be a great place to call home.

While I will no longer be a councilman at the end of my current term, I will continue to do whatever I can to support some of the great things that are taking place here. It has been a pleasure to serve the citizens of Loganville, and I look forward to the continued evolution of our great city.

I am honored to be a part of our city becoming a Purple Heart City and for the Purple Heart Recipients here in Loganvill...

It is good to see that hard work pays off, that knocking on 750 doors pays off, and that standing out in the rain pays off! I would like to thank my wife and son for helping me and being by my side. Thanks to the voters of Loganville who took time out of their day to vote for me, it is an incredible feeling!
