Join us for our regularly scheduled meeting at 7pm on September 9th to hear updates from schools, fire district, etc. as well as a discussion of the parks in Lolo and a presentation about a proposed development near Buckhouse Bridge. Following our regular meeting, the council will host an open house where the community can discuss their vision for Lolo in preparation for Missoula County's update to their Growth Plan. This open house is separate from the official public meetings the County will host next year. This will be the 1st of 3 sessions the council will host.

The commissioners will hold their next public meeting Thursday, July 24, at 2 p.m.

This meeting will also be the preliminary hearing for the fiscal year 2026 county budget, which includes the Lolo RSID budget, the year for which was incorrect on postcards and letters recently mailed to those residents.

The budget hearing will cover the following:

• Missoula County budget; including incomes, expenditures and requests from departments
• all Rural Special Improvement Districts (RSIDs) budgets
• Missoula Local Government Building special district budget
• Fairgrounds Redevelopment special district budget
• Seeley Lake Refuse special district budget

The Budget Book will be published online ahead of the hearing at missoula.co/budgets. The commissioners will vote on the budget during the final hearing on Thursday, Sept. 4.
