It is with a heavy heart that I share the sad news of the closing of our family business, Glass Court Swim & Fitness. After 48 years of operation, we have made the difficult decision to close our doors.
Our last day of business will be on March 30th, 2025.
The current state of fitness industry, a shrinking customer base, inflation, and the cost of doing business due to inflation have all contributed to this decision. Moreover, since the Covid pandemic our industry has been in a constant downturn, making it increasingly difficult to sustain our business.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our staff for their tireless effort and work. Many have been with us for over 30 years, and we are grateful for their loyalty and commitment to our company. We could not have achieved the success we did without their hard work and dedication.
We would also like to express our appreciation to our customers for their trust and support over the years. We are proud to have served the Chicago land area. The last payment for monthly membership dues will be on March 15th. This is for the month of March. All annual members who have paid for their memberships will receive refunds. Checks will be mailed out on March 31st to the addresses on file. All outstanding private swim lessons and personal training sessions must be completed by March 30th. Permanent lockers need to be emptied by March 30th. Class schedules and nursery hours will remain the same until March 30th.
While we are saddened by the closure of Glass Court Swim & Fitness, we are grateful for the memories, relationships, and experiences we have gained throughout the years. We will cherish these moments as we move forward.
