Last night we hosted a Stuffed Animal Sleepover for kiddos' favorite stuffies. These critters had a great time at storytime, then played all around the Library after their kids went home. We love sharing what they got up to when their kids come to pick them up today!

Did you spot the Book Bike with the Helen Plum Library Foundation at last week's Lombard Farmers Market? If you missed it, they'll be back on Jul 9 and Sep 1 with more used books for the picking!

The Lombard Farmers market runs from 3-7pm each Tuesday through Oct 6 on South Park Ave.

The Library will be closed on Fri, May 22 for staff training and Sun, May 24 & Mon, May 25 for Memorial Day. 🇺🇸 Please note: Our parking lot and drive-up book drop will be unavailable from 5pm on Sat, May 23 until we reopen on Tue, May 26. The west side (Main Street) book drop on the building will remain open for you to return materials while our parking lot is closed.

Did you spot our new Book Bike during the Lilac Parade yesterday? We were thrilled to give it its first ride up Main Street and appreciated everyone who cheered us on! 🚲️

Special shout-outs to the Helen Plum Library Foundation for helping to fund the bike, and to Retro Glow Cycles for helping us take good care of it!

In case you missed it, you can catch the Book Bike at the Lombard Farmers Market tomorrow and at more community events throughout the year. We'll be loading it up with fun swag, crafts, and more for those who spot us at events around town.

BINGO! It's almost time for the Lilac Parade. The Library will be open from 12:30-5pm on Sun, May 17 for parade day. Stop by and grab a Lilac Parade BINGO card to play while you watch the parade. Then, return it to the Library (with or without BINGO, it's the fun that counts) by Mon, Jun 1 to be entered to win prizes! (Note that prizes are for HPL cardholders only.)
