Adam was recognized for his outstanding leadership and volunteer service with the DuPage & Kane Senior Citizens Council, helping support programs that promote independence, dignity, and connection for older adults throughout the community.

Donations of pet food, treats, and supplies are taken by our office and then delivered to the senior’s home by a friendly volunteer. People interested in donating can do so by either:

DSCC was featured on CBS News this week to discuss how gas prices are affecting our meal delivery program. Check it out here:

The nonprofit serves more than 370,000 meals to about 9,000 seniors each year. Those seniors rely on the meal deliveries and wellbeing checks provided by the organization.

We are celebrating our 50th Anniversary, and we want anyone part of our organization's history to join the festivities! Through September 2026, our staff and Board Members are making the occasion with celebrations and opportunities to get involved throughout the year. The anniversary year will culminate in a celebration event on October 22, 2026 at Abbington Distinctive Banquets in Glen Ellyn. Stay tuned for more details.
