The City of Lometa is now accepting applications for a Full Time Maintenance Individual. We are looking for a hardworking, dependable person who is ready to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.

Job Requirements:
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Experience operating zero turn mowers
• Experience using w**d eaters
• Knowledge of operating skid steers preferred
• Must be able to work in both heat and cold conditions
• Must be dependable and motivated

This is a full time position. Pay is DOE (Depends on Experience).

New Shoulder Patch Announcement
The Lometa Police Department is honored to introduce our new shoulder patch, which reflects both Lometa’s heritage and our identity today.

The design of the patch is clean, professional, and timeless. It is easily recognizable as representing both the police and the city. The navy background complements the uniform, while the white lettering matches the name tapes worn by officers.

At the center of the patch, the design mimics the current city logo with minor adaptations, maintaining a connection to Lometa’s visual identity.

A star is positioned in the center of the state, marking the geographic location of Lometa.

The date displayed at the bottom provides a historical reference to the foundation of the city, honoring Lometa’s roots and legacy.
