UPDATE:
MPLSD Families,
Good news! Power has been restored to MPHS. Athletic and after-school activities will continue as normal.
However, please know that effective immediately, the 7-12 side of campus is on a boil alert.
We are working to put additional hand sanitizer out, and we will work to have some bottled water on hand for the next couple of days, as the boil alert will likely last two or three days.

Dear MP Families,
Good afternoon. We are experiencing a partial power-outage at Madison-Plains High School, but please know everyone is safe. Because this is a partial power outage, our interior classrooms do have some light in them, and because lunch has been served and because we about an hour away from our normal dismissal time, we are going to try to finish on our regular schedule today, Monday, August 31, 2026.
Due to the power outage and the water pressure loss we expect at the 7-12 building, we anticipate we will be on a boil notice tomorrow, Tuesday, September 01, 2026, on the 7-12 side of campus.
Again, we have a partial power outage at MPHS. Everyone is safe, and we are going to try to finish on our regular schedule today.
We do expect athletic practices to continue, as normal.
