Happy Friday!

Our staff at BFS London would like to take a moment to thank the local community for your continued support as we continue to serve the youth in foster care across Kentucky.

Although we continue to grow, open homes, and place youth in our homes, the job is far from over! There are currently over 8,000 children in out-of-home care across Kentucky alone. These children need someone like you! Please consider opening your home to these children in need. If our London office is not close to you, we can direct you to the office nearest to your area.

This Foster Care Awareness Month, we remember that kids in foster care aren’t just statistics. They are kids who deserve safe families, supportive communities, and a place to truly belong.

May is foster care awareness month! This month we will be shedding some light on foster care.

At this moment, there are over 331,000 kids in foster care across the United States. In the month of April, London Benchmark received over THREE HUNDRED referrals for children in foster care in Kentucky.

We need you! We need loving people to open their homes and their hearts to these children. Please consider becoming a foster parent and changing these children’s lives.

May marks the beginning of Foster Care Awareness Month, and there are around 331,000+ kids in foster care, with around 70,000 of those waiting for an adoptive family in the United States. 🚨

This means that adoption is their only path to a permanent family.

What can you do?
