📣 WE’RE CALLING ON OUR COMMUNITY FOR HELP! 📣

If you live in Laurel, Clay, Leslie, or Owsley County, we need respite providers!

So, what does a respite provider do?

Respite providers offer short-term care for children in foster care when their foster family needs some extra support. This could mean having a child stay in your home for a weekend, a few days during the week, or another short period of time.

Respite can give foster parents time to:
✨ Rest and recharge
✨ Attend appointments or important events
✨ Spend time with their other children
✨ Handle unexpected situations
✨ Simply have a much-needed break

You may not be able to open your home to a child long-term — and that’s okay! You can still make a meaningful difference by helping for a few days at a time.

Our foster families need a village, and we’re asking our community to be part of that village.
