The Rotary Club of Londonderry NH is a non profit service organization “DOING GOOD while having FUN!

We are always looking for new members who are interested in serving our Southern New Hampshire communities. Rotary International is a Service Organization, which counts over 1.4 million members Worldwide. Members in over 46,000 clubs around the world live by the motto "Service above Self". Rotary Clubs work on a local level to address any number of challenges in our community and those close to us

. The Rotary Club of Londonderry(NH USA) has helped fund local charities such as: The Sonshine Soup Kitchen, Liberty House, St. Jude Food Pantry, The Rotary Foundation, Shelter Box, Anne Marie House, Child and Family Services, ALERT in Londonderry NH, Community Caregivers and many, many more! The club also provides two scholarships to graduating seniors of Londonderry High School. One of the scholarships is reported to be one of the largest awarded annually.

Last week, the Rotary Club of Londonderry’s President, Jeremey Miller, welcomed members of Londonderry Grange #44 to share the history of the Grange and plans for its future.

For more than 100 years, the Grange has provided a welcoming, affordable space for community groups, youth organizations, volunteers and local events. Now, the Grange needs the community’s help to fund important infrastructure improvements and other projects that will help preserve the building for years to come.

At last week’s meeting, we welcomed Domenic Marte, owner of Latino Vibe 949 FM.

Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, to a Dominican father and Puerto Rican mother, Domenic is an American singer, songwriter and producer known for pioneering the Bachata Pop genre. He later launched Latino Vibe 94.9 FM, Manchester’s first dedicated Spanish-language radio station. Through the station, Domenic hopes to share Latino music and culture with the wider community while creating opportunities for emerging artists to have their music heard.

That same mission inspired the LatinoVibe Festival, a free community celebration taking place Saturday, September 12, beginning at noon at Veterans Memorial Park in downtown Manchester. The event will bring people together to experience Latino culture through live music, traditional dance, local food trucks, Latino-owned businesses and cultural activities.

Last week, the Londonderry Rotary Club welcomed fellow Londonderry Rotarian Brian MacDonald and Pat Calley of the Raymond Area Rotary Club as our guest speakers.

Brian and Pat introduced us to Braver Angels, the nation’s largest cross-partisan, volunteer-led movement working to bridge the partisan divide and strengthen our democratic republic. Through respectful conversation, the organization encourages people with different political views to listen, better understand one another, and find common ground without giving up their own beliefs.

Their message reflects the spirit of Rotary: bringing people together, building stronger relationships, and working toward positive change in our communities.

Every donation has a story, and this week we got to hear one firsthand.

Tina Hurley, founder of Less Leg More Heart, joined the Rotary Club of Londonderry to share the mission of her nonprofit and the life-changing work they do for amputees in our community.

Tina also shared how a recent gift from our club helped fund an accessible ramp for an amputee, providing greater independence, safety, and the freedom to come and go from home with confidence.

It's a powerful reminder that even a single act of generosity can have a lasting impact. We're grateful to Tina for sharing her story and for the incredible work Less Leg, More Heart continues to do.

A wonderful evening of celebration, fellowship, and gratitude as the Rotary Club of Londonderry gathered at 603 Brewery for our annual Changing of the Gavel.

After a successful year of service, President Jon Adkins officially passed the gavel to incoming President Jeremey Miller. Thank you, Jon, for your leadership, dedication, and commitment to our club over the past year.

Congratulations, Jeremey! We wish you a fantastic year ahead as you lead our club in continuing Rotary's mission of Service Above Self. Here's to another great year of making a difference in our community!

Thank you to Matt Kennedy from Blood Cancer United for joining the Rotary Club of Londonderry once again to share information about Light The Night, a community fundraiser that brings people together to support those affected by blood cancers.

Participants gather to celebrate survivors, honor loved ones, and raise funds to support patients and families facing leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and other blood cancers.

Thank you to Suzie Rankins from Bless This Home for joining the Rotary Club of Londonderry as our guest speaker last week.

Bless This Home is making a meaningful difference in our community by transforming empty spaces into welcoming homes. Through donated furniture, household items, and décor, the organization helps underprivileged women and families establish functional, comfortable, and dignified living environments as they begin new chapters in their lives.

Rooted in faith-filled service and compassion, Bless This Home demonstrates how a caring community can come together to uplift others in practical and meaningful ways. We appreciate Suzie sharing the organization's mission and impact and helping raise awareness of the important work being done to support local families in need.

The need for blood donations never stops — and the summer months can be especially challenging for blood banks as donations often decline while the need for blood remains constant. ❤️

Please consider donating this Saturday, May 30th, at St. Mark’s Church in Londonderry. A single donation can help save multiple lives and make a tremendous difference for patients and families in need.
