Family Fun Night!

Families of all ages are invited to a special after hours experience at the library! From 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2024 families can play an assortment of classic and jumbo games in the main library or a round of mini golf in the Children’s Room. Attendees may also head downstairs to the meeting room for a screening of Jaws (rated PG).

Registration is not required.

Game Night at Awesome CCG!

Patrons of all ages are invited to stop by Awesome CCG for a special game night for Leach Library cardholders on Thursday, July 18 starting at 6:00 p.m. Whether you are new to playing games or a seasoned pro, join the fun! Participants will be able to play an assortment of games from the store library. Pizza will be served while supplies last.

We're teaming up with the Londonderry Arts Council to present a special Concerts on the Common for Kids on Saturday, July 20 at 1:30pm! We're excited to welcome the Mr. Aaron Band for this free show on the Town Common. Bring a picnic or enjoy treats from our vendors!

No registration is required. Please note the concert will be moved to the Londonderry High School Cafeteria in the event of rain.

Read Local for Teens

Join members of the library staff at Awesome CCG to discuss the novel The Ruins of Gorlan by John Flanagan on Friday, July 26 at 2:00 p.m.

Registration is required and begins on July 5, space is limited. Copies of the book may be checked out at the Circulation Desk during registration.

All participants will be able to use any of the games in the onsite library after the book discussion. Participants are responsible for transportation to the location and all additional purchases.

Apple Byte Tournament

Teens and tweens are invited to an intro to e-sports video game tournament in the Leach Library Meeting Room on Tuesday, July 9 from 2:00-4:00 p.m.

During this program, students ages 9-18 will play Rocket League in a series of rounds on the Nintendo Switch platform. Tournament style and lineup will be announced at the start of the tournament. Door prizes and awards will be handed out to players while supplies last.

In an effort to remain fiscally responsible and smoothly transition to the new fiscal year, the library pauses ordering during June and July. Because of this, patrons may notice delays when requesting or searching for new materials.

We rely heavily on the interlibrary loan service during this time to limit delays as much as we can. Special thanks to the New Hampshire State Library and all our fellow librarians who make this important service possible!
