June 25, 1950... the beginning of the Korean War

North Korea invaded across the 38th parallel, the UN forces led by the United States fought for over 3 years to quell the communist invasion and combat ended on July 27, 1953.

Thank you Veterans Adaptive Sports and Training, it was a wonderful time for the annual Cape Cod Bicycling Adventure. We rode the Cape Cod Rail to Trail as well as the pathways throughout the tip of Provincetown along the National Seashore! Can’t wait until May 2025!!

They have done a lot of amazing work over the decades. Thank you Clara Barton for your vision.

I remember as a young Airman when my Great Genadfather passed away, I lived with my Great Grandparents for a bit as a kid, the American Red Crosss gave me a zero interest loan in order to get airline tickets home for the funeral.

They do so much more... but it's something I never forgot.
