Bids will be taken until June 10th at 12:00 (noon) at the Superintendents office (new building south of HS Gym). All winning bids must be picked up by June 15th. Lone Grove Schools will be closed on Friday, January 30th. Although the roads have improved greatly, there are still some very difficult areas for us to navigate. With the temperatures falling tonight we will experience a hard freeze and any wet or slushy areas will be ice in the morning.

We know this is unfortunate and we share the frustration. Our people have worked tirelessly to get our campus ready and although they have cleared the parking lots and sidewalks, there is still a lot of standing water and wet areas that will be ice in the morning.

A huge thank you goes out to those gentlemen that have spent the last three days trying to get us ready.

In the end, it is out of concern for the safety of our bus routes, teen drivers, families and staff that would have to travel icy and unpredictable conditions. As always, we want to ensure the safety of our students and staff.
