Our Annual Town Meeting was held at the Town Hall on September 11th.
Our Select Board members Jacquie Wingert, Tony Martin and Scott Flanders were voted in. Important decisions were made for the 2023-2024 Town Budget, the biggest projects being the repairs to the Town Hall and finishing the paving of Great Pond Road.
Congratulations to all the newly elected officials and the continuing elected officials. Here’s to a successful new year!

We enjoyed our low tax bills last year; due to raising more than we needed the year before, our mil rate was only 0.0052. Come to the Annual Town Meeting at the Town Hall on September 11 at 7 p.m. to decide the budget for 2023-2024.
Those seniors who filed the paperwork to “freeze” property tax bills should see that this next tax year, however the program has ended. There are new ways to reduce the tax burden on seniors available, Maine.gov has applications for other programs.
