We would like to Thank the Lone Tree Chamber of Commerce for once again putting in countless hours to make Lone Tree Fall Festival a success! Thank you to everyone who worked, donated, volunteered, chipped in, and gave of their time! Yesterday - Kurt and Jeff spraying paint on the Anti-Aircraft Gun at ABC Park. Kurt is directing people away from the paint sprayer. Please don’t pull up to the curb or anywhere close to the curb while they are spraying. They are taking precautions to prevent overspray but they can only do so much. Thank you.

Guess what’s going on at ABC Park? We’re renovating the Anti-Aircraft Gun! This is another Paint Iowa Beautiful project! Jeff Lihs, Navy Veteran, and President of the Lone Tree Community Foundation is spear-heading this project. Kurt Wieland, Director, for the Lone Tree Community Foundation is working with Jeff to restore this very important memorial! Thank you to Paint Iowa Beautiful! Thank you to Jeff and Kurt for power washing, applying two coats of primer, and soon, two coats of paint! It looks great!😁. Daisy is overseeing the project!
