Families are selected from throughout the community and local agencies, from families New Image serves. All families receive a food basket, and supermarket gift cards to assist them with their Christmas gift shopping and perishable items needs. Additionally, every child (ages new-born to 18 yrs), attend the Christmas store to identify pre-Christmas toys or gifts. Refreshments are served, while soft Christmas music fills the air with Christmas joy, and Santa visits from the South Pole (for picture opportunities). The last 17th Annual Christmas Store provided toys, gifts, and food gift cards to 610 families with 1,834 children. In 2013, we project to serve 644 families with 1,878 children.
