𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗜𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲 — 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻.

Republicans recently sent out a mailer twisting the truth about 𝗥𝗼𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗲 on new contracts for boardwalk concessions. Here's what they're hiding: the 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. Instead, 𝗠𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘄, declaring the boardwalk concessions are “not on the boardwalk” to hand out sweetheart deals — that can last up to 𝟵𝟵 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀.

It’s no coincidence those same concessions gave 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 $𝟭𝟯,𝟬𝟬𝟬 to Republican campaigns.

Do you see the Republican pattern? $13,000 in contributions gets you an illegal no bid contract. $11,000 from bar owners buys them the City Council.

We love and support our local businesses — but 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗿𝘂𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

𝗩𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝗹𝗲𝘆 — 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵.
