🇺🇸 REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! 🇺🇸

The Gulf Coast Veterans Association, Inc. invites veterans, active-duty service members, civic organizations, fraternal organizations, social clubs, sports teams, Food Vendors and community groups to register and march with us in the Long Beach Veteran’s day parade

Most importantly, we want our veterans and active-duty service members out there with us as we come together as a community to honor all who have served our nation.

🇺🇸 This Memorial Day, we pause to remember the men of 1st Battalion, 5th Marines who gave their lives in Afghanistan, along with all the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Their sacrifice was more than a moment in history. It was love for their brothers and sisters beside them, devotion to something greater than themselves, and courage beyond words.

Today we honor their memory, but we also celebrate the lives they lived and the legacy they left behind. May we carry forward the values they fought for — strength, unity, service, and gratitude.

Their sacrifice lives on through us.🇺🇸

Today was a reminder of what Memorial Day is truly about.

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to partner with Carry The Load and be part of something that means so much. To be able to walk beside our community and help carry the load for those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, those who lost their lives in war, and those who came home but continued fighting battles no one else could see, is an honor we never take for granted.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend or a day off. It’s a day to remember the names, faces, families, and stories of those who are no longer here. It’s about honoring the men and women who gave everything, and remembering the loved ones who carry that loss every single day.

Thank you to everyone who walked with us today. By showing up, you helped remind others that no one carries that weight alone. Together we remember, together we honor, and together we carry the load. 🇺🇸✨
