If you are experiencing homelessness and need a place to cool down during the warm weather, visit the Multi-Service Center (MSC) at 1301 W. 12th St. Today, the MSC will remain open until 5 p.m.

Regular hours:
Weekdays from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The Long Beach City Prosecutor's Office is educating the public on reporting wage theft if an employee feels like they are not being treated or compensated fairly by their employer.

The Long Beach City Prosecutor’s Office successfully prosecuted a wage theft case involving Mattress Factory Direct, resulting in $45,477 in restitution for six employees who were denied legally required wages and overtime.

Our diversion programs would not be successful without our amazing community partners!

As part of our expanded Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD) program, Los Angeles Centers For Alcohol and Drug Abuse created a Care Coordination Team to connect justice-impacted individuals with treatment and support- right in the community. Last week's career panel consisted of our Investigator, Chief Technology Officer, Victim Advocate, Community Service Worker Program Coordinator, Law Clerk, Homeless Court Coordinator, and the Community Engagement officer from Long Beach Police Department (CA).

Our summer interns had the opportunity to hear from each person about their career path and how they ended up in their roles. We're grateful for everyone who shared their stories and answered questions!
