⚠️ This morning Downtown Long Beach experienced a🪫power outage, causing loss of power to the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center🚦traffic lights and some private customers including🏨 hotels. Southern California Edison (SCE) responded quickly, backup generators on the site for Warped Tour were activated, and police officers were deployed to manage traffic.

ALL power has been restored.

Please continue to plan your commute accordingly and give yourself time. We appreciate everyone’s patience.

This , our City of Long Beach Disaster Preparedness department is encouraging residents to identify their tsunami hazard zones and develop evacuation plans for their families, home and workplaces.

🗓To support these efforts, the City will host a Tsunami Preparedness Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 4 at Bixby Park (Ocean Boulevard and Junipero Avenue). As part of this year's theme, Know the Risk. Know the Route, residents will learn how to recognize tsunami warning signs, reduce risk of injury during an emergency and practice evacuating from a hazard zone to safety.
