Welcome to the Board, Rosa Mendez!

We’re excited to welcome Rosa Mendez as the newest member of the Uptown Business Improvement District Board of Directors! 🎉

Rosa is the owner of two neighborhood favorites, Yari’s Party Supplies and La Catrina Michoacana Paleteria. As a local business owner, she knows firsthand what it takes to run a small business in North Long Beach, and we’re grateful to have her voice at the table.

Community in action! 💚 Take a look back at the North Village Neighborhood Association’s Annual Community Clean Up Event, where neighbors, volunteers, and local organizations came together to make a difference in North Long Beach.

A huge thank you to North Village Neighborhood Association, Rivera’s Tacos, City of Long Beach Public Works, Conservation Corps of Long Beach, Long Beach Development Services, Alert Response Security Protection, Care Closet, and Clean Windows & Services for helping make this community effort possible.

We also want to thank our Council District representatives for their continued support and everyone who volunteered and showed up for the community.
