Mentorship comes full circle. What happens when a young person who once had a mentor grows up to become a mentor themselves?
That’s the beautiful story behind CAMEO, Assistance League of Long Beach’s mentoring program. As Rich Archbold shares in his latest Press-Telegram article, some former CAMEO mentees are now returning to give back. Mentoring and encouraging a new generation of Long Beach students.
It’s a powerful reminder that one caring adult can make a lasting difference in a young person’s life and that impact can continue for generations. We’re proud of the mentors who show up, believe in our students, and help them see what’s possible. And we’re especially inspired to see former mentees become mentors themselves.
