We would like to wish a Happy 4th of July to all of our friends, followers and supporters. We hope that everyone has a safe day and come down to oceanfest and say hello to our captain, who will be at the Long Branch Fire Department recruiting tent this afternoon starting at 1pm, located at the promenade entrance to the Ocean Place Hotel. We're looking for new members as are all the other stations.

The City of Long Branch has 9 Volunteer Chartered Fire Companies in 7 different volunteer firehouses.

Independent Fire Engine & Truck Co. No. 2 - Long Branch Fire Department

Oceanic Engine & Truck Co #1

Phil Daly Rescue Company
West End Engine Co #3 - Station 9

They range from Engine Companies to Truck or Rescue companies.

Our volunteers work hand in hand with our counterparts in our career division Long Branch Professional Firefighters Association- FMBA Local 68 Our career division and volunteers (fire companies and fire police) make up the Long Branch Fire Department.

We are looking for volunteers from age 18 on up for all sorts of jobs from firefighter to administrative help or to join our awesome fire police. Fire Police officers are also essential to our operation providing traffic and crown control keeping firefighters, EMS, Police Officers and you safe on and around the fire ground. We also encourage those who feel they cannot help in a fire department capacity to join one of our local volunteer first aid squads; Elberon First Aid Squad or Long Branch First Aid

EVERY ONE OF THEM ARE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS

We offer FREE TRAINING. We provide you soup to nuts with everything you need from equipment to training to mentoring to brotherhood. We will even teach you some trades.

Volunteers are needed to help sort and organize donations for Hurricane victims at Long Branch OEM Building located on Union Ave. next to Long Branch Fire Headquarters ( Behind the McDonalds on Broadway) on Saturday at 10am, please reach out to Kim Iadanza to confirm. Thank You in advance.

Texas has been devastated by the effects of Hurricane Harvey, which has created unprecedented flooding and forced thousands to flee their homes.

If you’re looking to make a difference, here’s how you can help the victims impacted by the Texas Hurricane. The Windmill Hot Dogs has teamed up with Convoy of Hope and will be accepting donations such as new socks, underwear, t-shirts, bras, and flip flops for kids and adults!

All WindMill's will be accepting these donations. Also Taste The Cakes and Ice Cream at 179 South St, Freehold and SeaCoast Chevrolet at 3410 Sunset Ave, Ocean Township.
