Yesterday marked John and Linda Howell's final day volunteering at the Longmeadow Adult Center before they begin an exciting new chapter and move to Chicago in a few weeks.

We are incredibly grateful for their dedication, kindness, and countless hours of service to our Adult Center community. They have made a lasting impact and will be greatly missed.

This is a message from Longmeadow Emergency Management. Tomorrow night, June 19, 2026, the Longmeadow Country Club will be putting on a fireworks display. This is a private, permitted event. With fireworks displays there is noise and the smoke can linger. This message is intended to provide advance notice so you can prepare if you, your household members or pets are sensitive to loud noise. If you have questions regarding the fireworks, please reach out to Longmeadow Country Club directly. Thank you-

👏 A big thank you to Williams Middle School 8th-grade students Charlotte Thibodeau, Ava Vicenti, Hazel Keane, and Maya Cartun for raising awareness about food insecurity, volunteering at our Food Pantry, and collecting an incredible 178 pounds of food to support local families in need!

We also extend our appreciation to FOLOCA for hosting a wonderful picnic for the Food Pantry, and to our dedicated volunteers from Big Y Longmeadow for their continued support.

Together, we are making a difference in our community! ❤️

A huge thank you to the Longmeadow Girls on the Run group for creating such wonderful and creative posters for the Longmeadow Adult Center! 💜

Their thoughtfulness, creativity, and enthusiasm brightened our center and brought smiles to both our staff and participants.
