Bear in all his glory!

These types of muzzles known as agitation muzzles allow the dog to still breathe well, bark, sniff and move his/her mouth. For numerous training scenarios these are useful to keep a decoy safe from live bites when not in a protective suit. All the Longmont K9’s are indifferent to these muzzles and don’t mind them.

K9 Bear got a new patrol harness. This is a good lighter option for training. We do still have the harness that provides ballistic protection for our fury partners.

Vests are starting to roll in. 4 out 5 of the stab proof/bullet resistant vests have been funded. We are close on the last one.

Here is K9 Zombi’s new vest and as you can see, it does not restrict his mobility.

Thank you Keeping K-9s in Kevlar for running this fundraiser for us. Thank you to everyone that has donated. It means the world to the handlers.

The face Zombi makes when he finds out he will be receiving a vest but two of his fellow K9’s still haven’t been funded.

Please check out Keeping K-9s in Kevlar. We are still trying to raise money for two more vests. We are almost there. Thank you all for the support.
