The Junior High is incredibly proud of our 8th grade student, Deacon Nash!

Deacon, coached by Ms. Katie Baker, recently competed in the Texas Citizen Bee State Competition and earned an impressive 4th Place finish in the state! Congratulations, Deacon!

The Texas Citizen Bee is a statewide civic education competition sponsored by the Sumners Foundation and the Law-Related Education Department of the State Bar of Texas. Students compete in rigorous regional and state contests that assess their knowledge of civics, government, history, the Constitution, and current events.

We are extremely proud of Deacon for this outstanding accomplishment and grateful for the leadership and support of our Citizen Bee coach, Ms. Baker. Way to represent our Junior High with excellence!

Our SHJH Sources of Strength program hosted a volleyball tournament yesterday at the Junior High. The purpose of this event was to showcase our trusted adults on campus through a fun game of students vs teachers!
