It was a really busy afternoon on Day 3. We made a stop by the Supreme Court and then headed for the Basicilia of the National Shrine. We then got a special tour of the National Archives before finishing the evening off with a walk around the Tidal Basin and some souvenir shopping. One more day of some sights before heading home Wednesday night.

We started our morning at Arlington National Cemetery. We then went to the Marine Corps Memorial where we were entertained by the Marine Corps Band. We finished off the morning with a quick side trip to the 9-11 Memorial at the Pentagon.

Free summer meals are available at Pine Tree for all children ages 1–18 at the campuses listed below. Just stop by during meal service times.

Lunch: 11:00–11:30 AM

📍 Birch Elementary
