🎒💙 On to our next adventure.

Because every child deserves to walk into a new school year feeling ready, confident, and cared for.

Thanks to everyone who supported our backpack drives, foster youth across Cowlitz & Clark Counties returned to school with the supplies they need—and a little extra reminder that their community is behind them. 🫶

Thank you for helping make their next adventure a little brighter. ✨

Our team is hard at work planning for GiveMore24! Can we count on YOUR support? 💙

Early giving begins September 8, with the main event happening September 24! Every dollar brings us closer to our $25,000 fundraising goal and helps us support more youth as they navigate the foster care system.

Will you help us make a bigger impact? Like, share, and consider giving—every bit counts! 🙌

Turns out… it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. 🍦🌈

Sometimes it’s sprinkles, ice cream, questionable dance moves, and a team that knows how to have a good time. 😂

At CCCA we believe that every child should have an advocate in their corner.

We recruit and train caring community members (LIKE YOU!) to be the voice for both in foster care.

With the support of our community we ensure each child is provided with a Guardian ad Litem to represent the child’s best interests in what may be the most challenging season of their life.

Are YOU 🫵 ready to join our mission?

Our next training cycle begins October 12th. Submit an application at childadvocatescc.org.

Don’t have time to volunteer? Help us connect with those that do! Share this post or reach out for our flyer and promotional materials to display in your office. Every action is a step closer to ensuring a child isn’t left to face the unknown alone.

🎉Welcome to CCCA, our newest Guardians ad Litem! 🎉

As of Friday, we officially welcomed six new faces to CCCA as they were sworn in as Guardians ad Litem! 💙

What makes this group especially exciting is the incredible range of experiences they bring with them. In their personal and professional lives, they work in fitness, technology, family law, the corporate world, as a doula, and as a victim advocate.

Six different backgrounds. Six different areas of expertise. One shared commitment: advocating for the best interests of children.

Let their stories be a reminder that you don’t have to come from a specific background or profession to take on this role. What matters is your willingness to listen, learn, show up, and be a voice for a child who needs one. ❤️

Congratulations to our newest GALs — we’re so excited to have you on the team! 👏

And if you’ve ever wondered whether you could make a difference as a Guardian ad Litem, this is your sign. ✨

📅 Our next training cycle begins October 12th.

Could you be our next newest face? 💙

Sometimes, advocacy isn't about changing the course of a case—it's about honoring who a child is.

Recently, CCCA Guardian ad Litem advocated for one youth to receive permission to have their ears pierced, with the important provision that their parent be present for the experience. Another advocate supported two youth in pursuing a legal name change.

To many, these may seem like small moments. To a child or teen, they can mean everything.

Having your identity affirmed, your voice heard, and your wishes respected helps build confidence, belonging, and trust. Our volunteers advocate not only for children's safety and permanency, but also for the everyday decisions that recognize their individuality and dignity.

Every child deserves someone who will stand beside them and ensure their voice is heard.

For many children from historically marginalized communities, finding a mental health provider who understands their culture, language, and lived experiences can make all the difference.

During Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, we recognize that equitable mental health care means more than access—it means belonging.

Because every child deserves the opportunity to heal.
