Kelso High School is partnering with our Family and Community Resource Center to collect nonperishable food items and monetary donations to provide food boxes to Kelso students and families facing food insecurities this Winter Break. These are not holiday meal boxes, they are basic meals for everyday of their Winter Break and beyond.

Donations can be taken to the KHS ASB office now through Wednesday, December 21.

Happy Halloween everyone! We had a bit of a crazy Beyond the Alphabet event last week with over 100 people attending and we would just like to remind everyone of a few things:
• Beyond the Alphabet is a monthly program designed to be a place of engagement for families with children 0-10 (older kids are welcome to attend with their families)
• Parents are responsible for their children while in our facility
• We expect parents and children to please respect our facility by picking up their own garbage and food mess, using equipment safely, and not abusing the property
Our next Beyond the Alphabet will be on November 17th, and from now on we will be inviting families to come in through our side door directly into the family room instead of going through the gym (signs will be outside to point you in the right direction!). Parents and kids will be doing a couple of Thanksgiving crafts together and enjoying snacks in the family room, followed up with free time in the gym at the end. Keep an eye out for the official flyer coming soon!
