Volunteer opportunity!

Join us this Friday, June 26th, for our Community Food Distribution at Journey Church as we help provide nourishing food to approximately 350 neighbors in need throughout our community.

We’re currently looking for volunteers to help make this event possible, including:

❗Team Captain Volunteers
❗Car Registration Volunteers (Bilingual)
❗Bag Preparation & Food Distribution Volunteers

Housing changes everything.

Last year, 251 individuals and families, including 236 children, were connected to safe, stable housing through The Sharing Center.

Behind every number is a family able to sleep safely at night, a child with stability, and a neighbor given the opportunity to move forward.

Housing remains one of the most important ways we help individuals and families move from crisis to stability, and your support makes that possible.

Volunteer Spotlight: Mike Dempsey

Mike moved from England to Florida in 1984 and began volunteering with The Sharing Center during the holidays in 2018 before becoming a regular part of the team.

Today, Mike serves in our Distribution Center as our “Electronics Expert,” helping refurbish donated electronics so they can find a second life in our stores. When a local school donated 21 computers, Mike cleaned, repaired, and restored each one for resale.

His time, skills, and dedication help support our mission and strengthen our community every day. Thank you, Mike, for making a difference.

Not everyone needs a miracle. Sometimes they need a shower, a meal, and someone who believes in them.

Last year, 1,169 people benefited from critical support services provided through our Oasis daytime drop-in center.

To many of us, they're everyday household items. To a family starting over, they can mean comfort, stability, and a place to call home.

Right now, we're in need of furniture donations to help support neighbors rebuilding their lives and to stock our thrift store, which helps fund our programs and services.

If you have gently used furniture to donate, we invite you to drop it off during the hours below.
