🚒🔥 What a great Open House at Fire Station 15!

Thank you to everyone who came out for the Longwood Fire Department Open House! We had a great time welcoming our community to the station for a day of hands-on activities, demonstrations, fire trucks, family fun, and plenty of opportunities to meet the firefighters who serve Longwood. ❤️

We loved seeing so many families join us, ask questions, explore the equipment, and get an up-close look at what our crews do.

A big THANK YOU to everyone who helped make the Open House such a fun and memorable day! 👨‍🚒

🦆 A Different Kind of Rescue! 🚒

Not every rescue involves smoke and flames! Longwood Fire Department crews recently responded to the Extreme Youth Sports Complex to help save a group of baby ducks in need. Our firefighters were happy to lend a hand and make sure the little ducklings were safe. 💛

Great job, crew! No rescue is too small! 🐥🚒

🚒 From Our Partners at Seminole County Fire Department! 👶❤️

In honor of Grandparents Day this September, the Seminole County Fire Department (SCFD) is hosting a FREE Grandparent Safety Class to help grandparents feel prepared and confident when caring for their grandchildren.

⏰ 6–8 p.m.
📍 Seminole County Public Safety Building | 150 Eslinger Way, Sanford

Grandparents will learn practical safety skills including:
❤️ Child & infant CPR
🫁 Choking emergencies
💤 Safe sleep practices

🔥 Training Today. Prepared for Tomorrow. 🔥
Longwood Fire Department crews recently completed hands-on training in Forced Entry, Fire Attack, Hose Line Deployment and Search-and-Rescue Operations. These realistic training scenarios help sharpen our skills, strengthen teamwork, and ensure we are ready to respond when our community needs us most.
A special thank-you to Sanford Fire Department for allowing us to use their training facility and for supporting our continued professional development.
