Summer Reading Events start THIS WEEK!
What's coming up?
- ๐๏ธ๐Bedtime Storytime! Tuesday, 6/1 @ 6:30pm. Come in pajamas to an evening storytime all about bedtime animals. Geared towards preschoolers, though all are welcome.
-๐ฌ๐ฆ T(w)een STEM Club. Thursday, 6/4 @ 4:30pm. Explore the world up close with microscopes! We'll be making our own slides and learning microscope best practices. Geared towards ages 10-14, but ages 10+ are welcome.
- ๐ญ๐ Kick-off Cookout! Friday, 6/5 @ Jaycee Park. The official start to Summer Reading! Join us for a hot dog lunch, sign up for the Summer Reading Program, and play some games. All ages welcome!
- ๐ฌ๐ฆ Science Saturday. Saturday, 6/6 @ 10:30am. Similar to the t(w)een program, but designed for ages 5-10. Come and explore the world up close. T(w)eens are invited to volunteer for this event and help run stations (whether or not you can attend the T(w)een version).
- ๐ Senior Book Group. Monday, 6/8 @ 2pm. The group will be discussing "The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue" by V.E. Schwab.
- ๐ฌFamily Movie Night!! Tuesday, 6/9 @ 6pm. We'll watch the movie, dig some fossils, create our own museum exhibits, and have some snacks! Which movie you ask? I'll give you these hints: What happens at the MUSEUM after hours? Find out in this fun movie about a NIGHT watchman at a museum and the exhibits that come to life! {No, we can't say the name of the movie on social media for licensing reasons... but it does feature a dinosaur named "Rexy", a cheeky monkey, and Ben Stiller}.
