We hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving filled with friends and family.
We are thankful for all of you that support our fawn rescue efforts. Without your financial support our mission would not be possible !
This little one was rescued late this summer. She was released this fall and is now living her best life back in the wild.

Fawn season brings so many new people and experiences into our lives. This family rescued 3 fawns when their mother had been killed. Who know, the kids may become volunteers some day !

Fawn calls have started for the 2025 season. Just a reminder that mom's hide their newborns for hours at a time to keep them safe from harm. Please call our hotline before removing one from an area...chances are mom is close by !

We are a non-profit organization that helps injured and orphaned fawns.

Since April 1, 2024 our volunteers have reunited 5 fawns with their moms. People meaning well have removed fawns laying by themselves from that location thinking they were in trouble.
Moms will leave their newborns for hours at a time, returning to nurse them . Once the fawn has finished nursing their mom will hide them under a bush, car, or deck for safety and leave again.
Please call the hotline before removing fawns from their location .

When newborns arrive, they are fed a special formula, individually, with hand-held bottles. As they mature, they are transferred to racks (as seen below), and, gradually, they are weaned off of the formula and the racks. Ultimately, they eat oak leaves, grains, etc. These are the littlest three from Kindred Spirits Fawn Rescue, and they were just transferred to the racks.
