Career Power is helping more students enroll in postsecondary education; The Student Success Fund makes sure they stay. Your gift provides direct incentives and emergency materials support to students, along with rent relief for their families — keeping everyone on track.

$25 provides emergency material support 🧩
$100 supports a dorm readiness kit 🛏
$200 rewards a student for persisting semester to semester with a 2.0+ GPA 🏫

On Friday, our executive team Genee Hayes and Candice Bennett and Boardmember Tiffani Moore were honored to meet up with other winners of the TD Charitable Foundation grant!

We were selected for our proven work in preventing housing instability and strengthening long-term housing security in Northern Virginia, with an approach that truly aligns with this year’s focus on eviction prevention.

This funding expands eviction prevention through rental assistance, case management, and early intervention services. In short: It helps families avoid crisis and remain safely housed long-term.

Case Managers Cecilia Revilla and Sara Simone, and Resident Services Director Debi Sutton, recently toured George Washington's Mount Vernon Estate and the newly opened museum and educational center. In honor of America's 250th birthday, Mount Vernon has launched a new initiative, Mount Vernon for All, which aims to increase access to this wonderful local treasure for families served by community organizations. We are excited to partner with George Washington's Mount Vernon and help promote this benefit to our communities.
